I received a free copy of this book through Goodreads First Reads!
I LOVED THIS BOOK. REALLY LOVED IT. It was just perfect.
Never have I identified more with a character than I do with Cath. The fangirl life is something I have been a part of for a long, long time, and I wouldn't know who I'd be today without it. Granted, I don't write nor read fanfiction, but I appreciate that it's something that so many of us do actually enjoy in their spare time. Some of my book purchases this month. Since taking this picture I have bought another 5 books. This is getting out of hand. I've spent so much money on books this month when I already own most of these on my kindle. But, y'know, they're pretty to look at too...
Bought myself a used hardback copy of Cloud Atlas. Now I own two copies! My other is a flipback. All I need is a paperback to complete my collection because damn I love this book and I NEED TO OWN ALL THE COPIES.
I was really hoping to like this book more than I did. For me, it started off strong and I was instantly hooked, wanting to know more about the characters and what was happening. After about 30% through it abruptly stopped and introduced a second part to the story, and this was when it started to drag for me. I just couldn't get into it anymore.
